I want to introduce you to my awesome friend Katie. We met when she moved in just a street over from us and we have become great friends. What she’s been doing with her side business is pretty incredible.
She joined Trades of Hope 6 months ago and has already made a huge difference. As a compassionate entrepreneur she’s been able to help support men and women out of poverty all over the world, including the US, by sharing the beautiful handmade items with all of us through Trades of Hope. By doing that it allows these artisans to have the opportunity to have a sustainable business that breaks the cycle of poverty, feed and clothe their children, and provide education and health care for their children while gaining dignity and respect in their communities and hope for their futures. How awesome is that! It was started in 2010 by 4 incredible mother/daughter duo women who had hearts and passion for going beyond charity. By creating this company these artisans have been able to make 3-6 times more than they would in their home country.
Each of the beautiful accessories and decor by Trades of Hope are hand made by women and men around the world who have been in extreme poverty, have been victims of forced labor or sex trafficking or have illnesses that prevent them from working in a traditional setting. Trades of Hope offers you the unique opportunity to shower the globe with HOPE! What a wonderful thing.
During our photo session this weekend I couldn’t help but showcase these brand new summer items that just got released today. How cool that those earrings and necklace have a teardrop charm with an impression of the artist’s fingerprint. They were made in Guatemala. It’s the Beloved Necklace and Silver Impression earrings.
She paired those pieces with the beautiful Virtue Bracelet. The white marble-toned adjustable bracelet comes with a small wooden closure. Love it!

I just have to share one of her and her adorable son Luca from their mommy & me mini this weekend!
